We followed Fortuna, the goddess of fate. But also a brewery on Vlieland. There we were able to capture the story of Bojan and Gosse. Bojan is a refugee from Serbia who washed ashore on the island years ago to build a new life there. There he met Gosse, now his business partner. Or as Bojan calls it, Friendship Under Firm (VOF).

We followed their story, the brewing process, a piece of Vlieland's history, and the poetry that connects all these elements together. For the music score we invited talented musicians Domenico Mangione and Melissa-Sue Sastrowiardjo to Vlieland to work on the film.

The 30-minute documentary film can now be viewed in preparation for the tour at Fortuna Vlieland.
